ZCC Presents UN Youth Corruption Report to Youth Minister

The Zero Corruption Campaign (ZCC) has presented a United Nations youth-led corruption report to the Minister of Youth Affairs, Ibrahim Sannoh, during a meeting held at his office in Freetown.

The report, titled “Stolen Futures: How Corruption Hurts Young People,” was developed under the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) through its GRACE Initiative. It highlights the impact of corruption on young people and provides recommendations for reform.

Presenting the report, ZCC Executive Director Elison John said corruption continues to limit opportunities for young people, particularly in education and employment. He called for stronger collaboration to address the challenge.

Minister Ibrahim Sannoh described the report as timely and important, assuring the Ministry’s support in advancing its recommendations. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting transparency, accountability, and integrity in governance.

The engagement forms part of efforts to strengthen youth participation in anti-corruption advocacy across Sierra Leone.
