Sierra Leone will on Saturday, 6 June 2026, host Liberia in an international friendly match at the Southern Arena in Bo City, marking the national team’s first home fixture in five years.

The match is part of preparations for upcoming international assignments and is expected to draw significant local support as football returns to home soil.
The fixture will see Leone Stars take on Liberia’s Lone Star in a West African football showdown aimed at strengthening team cohesion and competitiveness ahead of future tournaments.
Fans are expected to fill the Southern Arena, with supporters encouraged to wear national colours and rally behind the team.
The return of international football to home grounds, under the leadership of SLFA President Babadi Kamara, is being widely welcomed as a boost to national morale and sporting development.
