SLFA President Babadi Kamara has taken his development drive to strengthen women’s football to the doorsteps of one of Sierra Leone’s biggest mining companies; Marampa Mines Limited.
Flanked by senior football officials on Wednesday, President BBD visited the mining giant in Port Loko with a clear mission to secure sponsorship for the country’s Women’s Premier League.
The SLFA boss was received by Managing Director Angula Kalili and Finance Director Simba Muchena.
The discussions were fruitful, with both sides showing interest in a partnership that could change the face of women’s football in the country.
The move is part of a bigger push to bring corporate Sierra Leone into football development.
