Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL) has signed a five-year partnership agreement worth US$400,000 with Kadat Group of Companies to support the development of cricket in the country.

The agreement was signed on Saturday at Kadat Group’s headquarters on Hennessey Street in Freetown by CSL Board Chairman Francis Trevor Samura and General Manager Chrispin E. George, in the presence of board members and other stakeholders.
The partnership will support the organisation of the Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s Cricket Leagues, including the Senior Men’s Patriots and Senior Women’s Patriots.
According to CSL, the deal is aimed at strengthening domestic cricket competitions, attracting more young players and increasing the sport’s popularity in Sierra Leone.

Meanwhile, refurbishment work at the Kingtom Oval is progressing, with the outfield recently graded and vehicles removed from the eastern side of the facility to prepare for the upcoming league season.
The partnership marks a significant step in the new CSL Board’s efforts to strengthen corporate partnerships and transform cricket in Sierra Leone over the next five years.
