Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Her Excellency Francess Virginia Anderson, PhD, has advanced her week-long working visit to Istanbul by securing strategic partnerships with leading textile manufacturers, including Tokman Fashion & Textile Garment Factory and Emon Men’s Clothing & Shirt Manufacturer & Store, in support of the upcoming Freetown Trade and Investment Tours.
The engagements, held in Istanbul, Türkiye’s commercial hub, form part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral trade ties and attract investment into Sierra Leone’s growing garment and textile sector.
Both companies have consented to be a part of the historic visit of Turkish investors to Sierra Leone this year.
It could be recalled that on 30 May 2025, the Embassy of Sierra Leone in Türkiye successfully hosted its first Trade and Investment Seminar in Istanbul, which brought together government officials, private-sector leaders, investors, and business associations from both countries. The seminar formed part of broader efforts to deepen bilateral trade relations and position Sierra Leone as an attractive destination for Turkish and international investors.
