Orange Reaffirms FA Cup Support

The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, on Wednesday, 1 July 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Executive Officer of Orange Sierra Leone to strengthen partnership and express appreciation for the company’s support to the 2026 FA Cup.

During the meeting, President Kamara, accompanied by SLFA General Secretary Ing. Mohamed Benson Bawoh, thanked Orange Sierra Leone for its continuous sponsorship of football development in the country, noting that the support contributed to the successful staging of the FA Cup.

He assured the telecommunications company of the SLFA’s commitment to improving future editions of the competition, making it more competitive, better organized, and more attractive.

Discussions also focused on expanding cooperation between SLFA and Orange Sierra Leone, including possible support for the Men’s Premier League and Women’s Premier League.

The Chief Executive Officer of Orange Sierra Leone reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continuing its support for the FA Cup and expressed confidence in SLFA’s leadership and vision for football development.

The meeting ended with both parties agreeing to deepen their partnership to further advance football growth and visibility in Sierra Leone.
