The administration of Fourah Bay College (FBC) has announced a continued ban on all student club activities following recent incidents of violence on campus.
According to a notice issued on 2nd May 2026 by Deputy Registrar Brima Bah, the decision comes after disturbances that occurred on 30th April and 1st May, which the college described as a serious concern.
The ban applies to all forms of student club engagement, including gatherings, processions, chanting, and other organized group activities.
Students have been urged to strictly comply, with the administration warning that any violation will lead to disciplinary action in line with college regulations.
To restore order and ensure safety, the campus is now under full security coverage by the Sierra Leone Police, specifically the Western Area Regional Command.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing to identify and prosecute those responsible for the violence.
The college administration has called on students to cooperate fully in maintaining peace and a safe academic environment.
