Internal Affairs Ministry Holds Inter-Agency Coordination Meeting

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has held an inter-agency coordination meeting to strengthen collaboration among the country’s internal security and administrative institutions.

The meeting was held on Thursday, 6 August 2026, at the National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA) Conference Hall on King Harman Road in Freetown.

The meeting brought together representatives from the Sierra Leone Police, National Fire Force, Immigration Department, NCRA, Sierra Leone Correctional Services, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Sierra Leone National Commission on Small Arms and Ammunition, Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the Independent Police Complaints Board.

The agenda included the adoption of previous minutes, review of action points and updates from the various agencies.

The meeting forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to improve coordination and cooperation among institutions under its supervision.
