President Julius Maada Bio has officially launched the 2025–2027 “Building Resilience for Women and Girls in the Face of Climate Change and Conflict” campaign of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD) at the Freetown International Conference Centre, Bintumani.
The launch coincided with the seventh anniversary of Sierra Leone’s “Hands Off Our Girls” campaign, led by First Lady Fatima Maada Bio, who also serves as OAFLAD President.
The event brought together First Ladies from Liberia, Burundi, Senegal, Cape Verde, and Gabon, alongside development partners, senior government officials, traditional leaders, and diplomats.
The campaign focuses on four core pillars: education, health, women’s empowerment, and the prevention of gender-based violence.

It aims to strengthen women’s and girls’ resilience across Africa, particularly in the face of climate change and conflict.
First Lady Fatima Bio emphasized that the campaign will have continental impact, calling for accessible systems that protect girls and create opportunities for their future.

President Bio highlighted the campaign’s alignment with Sierra Leone’s Medium-Term National Development Plan and reaffirmed his commitment to women’s empowerment as essential for national and community resilience.
The launch concluded with a call for governments, civil society, and development partners to collaborate with OAFLAD, ensuring measurable and lasting transformation for women and girls across Africa.

Yo, wanted to chime in about 66win9. This site is decent. They have a good variety of games, and navigation isn’t too bad either. Bonus structure isn’t the best, but it is functional. Worth a check on your own accord 66win9.
