SLFA President Waives Coaching Fees for Female Coaches

The Sierra Leone Football Association has announced a full waiver of coaching licence fees for all female coaches in Sierra Leone.

The policy, approved by SLFA President Babadi Kamara, applies to courses from Licence D through Licence A and will remain in effect for the duration of the current Executive Committee’s mandate.

The move aims to remove financial barriers that have historically limited women’s participation in football coaching and technical education.

President Babadi stressed that expanding the pool of certified female coaches will strengthen grassroots development, improve technical training, and support the long-term growth of football in the country.

Eligible female coaches are encouraged to register for upcoming courses through official SLFA channels.
