The Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) has concluded a three-day strategic management retreat at Companero Resort in Bureh Town, aimed at strengthening the institution and improving service delivery.

The retreat brought together Executive Director James Bagie Bio, Deputy Executive Director Josie Abraham Scott-Manga, directors, and senior management to review operational gaps and develop strategies for enhanced performance.
Key discussions focused on modernizing the Employee Manual Handbook to improve staff working conditions and aligning the Authority’s Vehicle Policy with the National Motor Vehicle Policy for better compliance and transparency.

Executive Director Bagie Bio emphasized the importance of interdepartmental collaboration, strengthened communication, and sustained reforms, noting that the Authority’s progress aligns with President Julius Maada Bio’s Big Five Game Changers.
The retreat concluded with a renewed commitment to implementing reforms, strengthening organizational structure, and accelerating efforts to deliver safer roads and improved public service nationwide.
