The Chief Executive Officer of the Road Maintenance Fund Administration (RMFA), Mohamed Kallon, has conducted a monitoring tour of RMFA-funded projects in Kailahun and Moyamba Districts.

The visit, carried out on 10 January 2026, saw the CEO leading a team of engineers to assess the progress and quality of ongoing and completed road maintenance works. The exercise was aimed at ensuring quality assurance, accountability, and value for money in line with government standards.
Speaking during the tour, RMFA officials reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to supporting the Government’s infrastructure development agenda, particularly improving road access to remote communities and strengthening national connectivity.
RMFA has, in recent times, completed the construction of three major bridges in Moyamba District and in the communities of Neiyama and Peimdemna in Kailahun District, among several other projects across the country.
The monitoring exercise underscores RMFA’s continued role in maintaining critical road infrastructure to support economic activities and ease the movement of people and goods nationwide.
