The Right to Access Information Commission (RAIC) has extended the deadline for Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs), and State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) to submit their Annual Compliance Report (ACR) and Proactive Disclosure of Information (PDI) from Thursday, 22nd January to Monday, 16th February 2026.
The extension comes in response to formal requests from public institutions seeking additional time to complete their submissions.
RAIC commended those institutions that had already met the original deadline for their commitment to transparency and accountability.
The Commission reminded all MDAs and SOEs that compliance with the ACR, PDI, and the Access to Information framework is now a performance tracking indicator adopted by State House.
Institutions failing to comply will be held accountable, making timely submission both a legal and administrative requirement.
RAIC urged all public authorities to take advantage of the extension and ensure full compliance by 16th February 2026.
