The Sierra Leone Football Association has announced the immediate termination of Mohamed Kallon as Head Coach of the national men’s football team, Leone Stars.
In a statement issued on April 2, 2026, the association said the decision was taken by its Executive Committee after careful consideration of the team’s technical and strategic direction.
The SLFA noted that the move was made in the best interest of the national team and the development of football in Sierra Leone.
Mohamed Kallon, a former international footballer, has now ceased to serve in the role with immediate effect, and the association said further administrative steps will follow.
The SLFA also thanked Kallon for his service during his time as head coach and wished him well in his future career.
