Eight Host Communities Benefit in Bonthe & Moyamba

The distribution exercise commenced in Semabu Village, Sogbini Chiefdom, Bonthe District, and concluded in Taninihun Village, Moyamba District. The move specifically targeted Muslim households, ensuring that families received essential food supplies to support them during the fasting period.
During the exercise, the company distributed over 300 bags of rice, 50 gallons of vegetable oil, 50 bags of onions, and 50 bags of sugar, along with salt, Maggi cubes, and other cooking condiments.
In total, the donation reached eight communities across Bonthe and Moyamba Districts within the company’s operational areas.
The items were officially presented by the company’s Public Relations Officer, Maimunatu Bah, on behalf of the management of Foison Resources SL Limited.
In her remarks, she noted that the donation was made as a gesture of goodwill and solidarity with Muslim communities during the holy month of Ramadan. She further emphasized that the company remains committed to supporting its host communities during important religious and cultural periods.
To ensure transparency and fairness, the distribution exercise was conducted in the presence of key chiefdom and community stakeholders, including Section Chiefs and Town Chiefs, who helped coordinate the process and ensured that the items reached the intended beneficiaries.
The gesture was warmly received by residents, who expressed deep appreciation to the management of Foison Resources SL Limited for the timely support during Ramadan.
In Kabati Community, Jong Chiefdom, Bonthe District, residents organized a special prayer session for the continued success and prosperity of Foison Resources SL Limited. The community also presented a formal letter of appreciation to the company, acknowledging its ongoing support and commitment to the wellbeing of its host communities.
