Instructors, Recruit Dismissed
The Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) have dismissed several instructors and one recruit over drug-related offenses within the training camp in the AFTC and Waterloo area of responsibility.

During the recent reporting period, multiple personnel faced disciplinary actions, including Sgt Mansaray (alias Octopus), Cpl Lahai, Cpl Sankoh, Cpl Koroma, Cpl Allen, L/Cpl Kailie, and Pte Turay, all dismissed from service. Sgt Kallon was reduced in rank to Corporal, while some others remain under investigation.

The incident involves the selling and use of drugs within the training camp, a problem that has raised growing concern among recruits and military officials. Some recruits have also identified instructors involved in drug dealings.
Military authorities have maintained maximum alertness and are working to address the issue to safeguard discipline and the integrity of the training environment.
