The Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA) has successfully completed the FASAP-RAMP Onsite Training for Safety Inspectors, held from 9–13 February 2026 at the Freetown International Airport Conference Room.

The five-day intensive programme enhanced the technical skills of Safety Inspectors in ramp inspections, aircraft ground safety, and compliance with international aviation standards.
Participants received practical training and updated knowledge to strengthen regulatory oversight of aircraft operations in Sierra Leone’s airspace.
The training concluded with a certificate presentation ceremony, marking a key milestone in SLCAA’s efforts to build institutional capacity and improve operational safety in the aviation sector.

SLCAA emphasized that this initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to aviation safety, regulatory excellence, and alignment with global best practices, ensuring the industry meets international standards and protects the travelling public.
