Police at the Wanjama checkpoint on Monday morning, 25th May 2026, arrested a man identified as Mohamed Sesay of No. 6 Susu Town after allegedly finding 185 sachets of tramadol in his possession.
According to reports, the arrest took place at around 6:00 a.m. during a police operation at the checkpoint.
The suspect was travelling in a vehicle with registration number AYD 810 when the substance was discovered.
Police confirmed that both the suspect and the exhibits have been taken to the Kenema Police Station for further investigation.
Authorities say more details surrounding the arrest are expected to be released later.estigation.
