
QCell Sierra Leone has been recognized as the most affordable and best-quality telecom service provider for 2025 by the Consumer Protection Agency Sierra Leone.
The award was presented on April 21, with CPA-SL officials praising QCell for its commitment to providing accessible and reliable telecommunications services across the country.
Head of Public Relations at CPA-SL, Daniel Fengai, said the agency has monitored the company’s performance since it entered the Sierra Leonean market. He noted that QCell has consistently delivered affordable services, including low-cost internet packages, even in remote areas.
According to him, the recognition was based on feedback from the public, highlighting the company’s growing reputation among users nationwide.
Receiving the award on behalf of the company, QCell representatives expressed appreciation and said the recognition would motivate them to continue improving services and expanding access.
Also speaking, Head of Marketing Edward Nelson Pratt said the company remains committed to offering affordable and reliable connectivity. He added that QCell now operates in all 16 districts of Sierra Leone.
The award highlights the importance of affordable telecommunications in supporting digital access and development across the country.
