King David Kargbo, Country Director of HADA FC, on Friday morning presented $2,000 to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) at the FA Secretariat.

CD Kargbo said the donation, which will be used to purchase 300 bags of cement for the ongoing construction of the FA Secretariat, is only the beginning of his club’s support. “We plan to do more to help develop the game. We are here to promote football and anyone involved in it,” he said.

SLFA President Babadi Kamara expressed sincere appreciation for the gesture, describing it as uncommon in Sierra Leone football. “This support shows your commitment to the growth of the game. Football is a channel for peace and progress, and your partnership will help us build a better society.”
He assured that the funds would be used for their intended purpose and instructed the Finance Manager to immediately deposit the money into the SLFA account.

The SLFA President also called for unity in football, stressing that hard work and collaboration are needed to make Sierra Leone an admired footballing nation in Africa.
President Babadi later inspected the ongoing work at the Secretariat, engaging the Engineers on progress so far.
