The government’s public sector reform initiative has been extended to Falaba District, aimed at modernizing governance and improving service delivery.

Minister of Public Administration and Political Affairs, Amara Kallon, announced the expansion during the Civic Day Series in Mongor on 24th March 2026.
Minister Kallon explained that the government has conducted Management and Functional Reviews for 38 Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), including the Electoral Commission, Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation, and the Political Parties Registration Commission.
The reviews are designed to strengthen institutional performance and improve mechanisms for delivering public services.
The Minister also announced plans to digitize staff recruitment and attendance systems through the Sierra Leone Digital Human Resource Hub, replacing paper-based processes.

He emphasized that this move will enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability across government institutions, marking a key step in Sierra Leone’s public sector reform agenda.
